I keep a very close eye on media regarding the Open Skies Treaty, watching for which outlets get “scoops” that spread disinformation, which helps figure out which outlets are tight with those who are trying to slander, and remove the United States from the Open Skies Treaty. It doesn’t take long to figure out the Washington Free Beacon’s conservative bias, but much more nuanced are the leaks they get from a variety of Washington insiders. It is not impossible to deduce, from the disinformation spread about the Open Skies Treaty, who is trying to get rid of it. It isn’t Trump behind the campaign to kill the Open Skies Treaty. Trump couldn’t care less.
